• What is SSL ?

SSL is short for Secure Socket Layer.
This means that exchanged information is encrypted and can't be read nor modified during transmission.

• Is my bankinformation protected ?

Yes.
For your bankinformation like your account number to be available to others, these others would need access to your informations.
With Alterlinks this is impossible, as not even our own services ever get to see your bankaccount number or any other information related to it.

Your information is exchanged directly between yourself and our bank.
Alterlinks can't visualise them nor store them before, during or after your transaction.
Given that no sensible bank information is stored within our network, even in case of a hacking attempt no personal bankinformation could ever be found.

• I've tried several times to pay for a service, but it's refused ?

  • You might have reached the maximum daily amount authorised for your card.
    Try again later or with an other card.
  • The provided information contained an error, eg. due to a type misstake.
    Retry your purchase taking care of entering correct information.
  • Your card might be expired.
  • Your card might not be accepted by our bank. We accept Visa, Euro and Master cards.

• Do I risc to be billed twice if I retry a purchase after a refusal ?

No.

• When a purchased service reached its expiration, am I automatically billed for a renewal ?

No.
This would be impossible because we don't have your bank information in our possession, as explained above.
Any service can only be renewed manually by you at your explicite request.

Before the expiration date of your subscription, an automated email will be send to inform you about the expiration of your service.*
This mail contains a secured link which you can use to renew your subscription.
*With exception of citizenships which can only be renewed by the AW browser or at their official website.

• How can I keep a record of my transaction ?

You will receive an email with a description of your purchase, as well as a facture number.

For hosting solutions with an included online web interface, you also have direct access to your facture statement which can be printed at any time.
If you renewed your service one, or several times, you also have access to the complete history of previous facturations.
These are in a printable format.

• Cancellation

To cancel a subscription you simply don't pay the next upcoming facture.
If you wish to cancel a service, you can contact us (see our "Contacts" page at this website).
Your service will be deactivated or put offline and your informations will be deleted from our database. No refund will be made, even if the request for cancellation is made before the next echange date.
