Active Worlds - ANIMATE Command
Allows to animate an object by use of one or several textures.
animate [tag=number] [mask] [me or objectname] [texture name] [number of images] [repeat factor] [speed] [list of textures]
Tag= : number of polygones to affect by the animation. Don't specify the "tag" if the animation should be applied to the entire object.
Mask : apply the alpha mask for transparency.
Objectname : "me" will apply the command to the object itself. See command name
for more details.
Texture name : without numbers in the name for an animation like the name for a list of textures.
Number of images : total number of images in the animation.
Repeat factor : number of times the animation will be repeated before to stop.
Speed : value in milliseconds. The higher the number, the slower the animation will be made.
List of textures : order in which they should be applied.
Note : the first number in the texturename indicates the starting texture. For this to work, it is mandatory that the numbers are in sequence as in this example : flower1.jpg, flower2.jpg and flower3.jpg
Create animate mask me flower 5 8 700 1 2 1 3 1 4 1 5
Displays 5 textures (flower1,2,3,4, and 5), in 8 times, following the order 1 2 1 3 1 4 1 5, this all with an interval of 700 millisecondes between each image.
